A large number of the squad originally started training together at Wyvern under Gary Platt and were known as the Wyvern Colts.


In the summer of 2008, Will Hope & Chris Chester took over running the team. The Colts entered it's first season of competitive football in the U10 Green Division of the Eastleigh & District Mini Soccer League during the 2008/09 season.


The current Dragons squad came together at the start of the 2009/10 season, when Brandon Barker, Emerson Summers, Harry Woolvine, Josh Coombs and Sam Rigby joined, as the team stepped up to 11 a side football in Division 6 of the Tyro League.
